Jerry F. Lee has a Private Law Practice in Cleveland, Georgia, located only five miles from Helen, North Georgia’s Historic Alpine Village. He is a Clayton County native and attended it’s public schools. After military service during the Vietnam War, he attended and is a graduate of both the Clayton State University and the Georgia State University Schools of Criminal Justice and Woodrow Wilson College of Law. He is also a graduate of Harvard Law School’s Graduate Program for Trial Lawyers. Jerry has been active in Georgia State Bar affairs and was appointed by the State Bar President to serve as a Member of the Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee for several years. He has been appointed as a Special Master Judge in land cases by the local Superior Court Judge. He has served as an Assistant in the Fulton County Superior and Juvenile Court, Public Defender’s Office. As a Probation and Parole Supervisor and as an Investigator for the Georgia Pardons and Parole Board, he investigated felony cases including numerous notable death penalty cases. He has served as legal counsel for the Atlanta offices of the Oklahoma Tire and Shock Absorber Manufacturing Company.
Mr. Lee is admitted to practice before all City, Municipal, County and
State Trial and Appellate Courts with the State of Georgia. He has
argued Appellate matters before both the Georgia Court of Appeals and
the Supreme Court of Georgia. He is admitted to the Federal Bar and the
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, as well as the
U.S.. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He is
admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for both the Fifth
and Eleventh Federal Circuits covering most of the Southeastern States.
He also practices regularly before the Georgia Workers’ Compensation
Board, litigating work-related injuries. He was admitted to practice Pro
Hac Vice to the Texas District Court of Webb County (Laredo) in
Criminal Felony matters.

College Instructor.

Jerry is married to Mindy Lee and they have two children, Brittany, a
nurse, and Hallye, a student.
